I fell in love with Alison’s lettering a few years ago when I took a “brush lettering” workshop from her. Of course we hit it off and have been friends ever since!
When I think about what it is to have “Grit + Grace” I think of so many women I’ve met over the years. Who do you know that has a lot of ‘grit’ and yet a lot of ‘grace’ to go with it?
Let me break it down for you.
Grit- Determines that life challenges will neither defeat nor define us.
Grace- Gives kindness to ourselves and others even when it’s hard
