Summer is in full swing, and with the extra stressors of the year, everyone is in need of a getaway. Whether you are planning a family staycation or a day at the lake or beach, we all need to take a moment to treat ourselves to some extra care.
The beach is my happy place. I love to listen to the waves crash along the beach, soak up the sun with the cool ocean breeze on my face, and just slow down a bit.
I am incredibly grateful to be able to take a trip this summer. Sure, I have known about my much-needed beach vacation for a while, but between the hustle of work and finishing the school year at home, I was not quite as prepared as I wanted to be. If you are in the same boat, and about to throw everything into a suitcase in a hurry, I made this pack list of beach essentials to help you remember a few key items

Everyday Travel Essentials
This travel bag is one of the best I’ve seen. I bring it on every adventure I take. There are multiple mesh pockets on the inside to keep everything in place, and large enough it allows you to bring full-size products. Even better, it has a hook on the inside so you can hang it on a hook or the door handle and not take up counter space.
I like to accessorize while on vacation. I don’t recommend bringing anything too expensive, but I am out to have fun and feel flirty. We all love a cute coverup for the beach, but when I am trying to pack quick and keep things to a minimum, an oversize tee is what I grab.

Beach Day Essentials

Depending on where you stay, they may not offer extra towels for your beach adventure. Make sure to call ahead and ask, but I don’t think you can have too many towels at the beach. These come in multiple colorful patterns, are large enough to stretch out on, and can be customized!
Staying hydrated is essential in keeping everyone happy and having fun all day long. Keep drinks for the whole crew cool all day in an easy-to-carry cooler tote! Protection from the sun is a must-have for the whole family. I personally love a cute trucker hat. They will fit into any bag without a problem. I LOVE this colorful tie-dye hat for the beach!
